Water/ Gatorade Collection for Local Fire Departments
The VFW Post 1599 AUXILARY with the help of VFW post 1599 members
Collected 30 case of water and 26 cases of Gatorade and delivered them to local Fire Departments including
Franklin Fire Company, New Franklin, Fayetteville and Marion

Christmas Favors for South Mountain.
At a meeting in November the Auxiliary decided to make something to give to the South Mountain Restoration Center to put on the meal trays for the residents for Christmas. We decided to use Poppies since we had been helping to assemble 250,000 for the post, we purchased small 2 inch pots, and small Styrofoam balls, and a few rolls of ribbon. A few of us got together at the post for about 5 hours and put together 140+ favors to make the holiday a little brighter.
